Our Medical Assisting program features online learning, classroom instruction, and hands-on training in lab. You'll learn medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, phlebotomy, ECG/EKG, clinical procedures, medical billing, practice management, medical law and ethics, patient rights, security and privacy of medical records, and HIPAA (Healthcare Insurance, Portability & Accountability Act) standards. A laptop is included to assist you with your online studies.*
